Care for Pool Furniture

Our new pool furniture looks great, so we really would like your help in keeping it looking nice. The following are a few guidelines we would ask you to follow to help with that.

  • If you put up one of the umbrellas when you use a table, please put it back down and tie it securely when you leave. Being fabric umbrellas, they can be damaged if it gets really windy.

  • The loungers have been placed for maximum sun availability and to share a side table with the lounger next to it. Feel free to move them around if you must, but please move them back to where you found them when you leave. (We had to let our pool boy, Fabio, go in order to afford the new furniture, so your help would be appreciated.)

  • The loungers have been treated to repel water, sweat, and other stains, but that only goes so far. It would be helpful if residents would consider purchasing lounge chair covers to use at the pool. (These covers are available from Amazon and other retailers for a nominal cost and are basically extra long towels with an anchoring pocket at the top to hold it on the lounger.)

  • Please DO NOT sit on the lounger while spraying on sunscreen without being on a towel or lounge chair cover. The spray sunscreen can damage the fabric of the loungers.
The new pool furniture was a big investment, and if we take a few easy steps, we can keep it looking nice for years to come. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
